Time for Some Positive Changes
Make this the year you make yourself a priority.
Take a few minutes right now and answer these questions–
What do I want?
How can I change my life for the better?
What makes me happy?
What did you come up with? It’s a new year. A great time to invest in your happiness.
If not now, when?
I understand that change is difficult. It’s a lot easier to keep your same routine even if you have become complacent– at least there’s no surprises.
Making a change in your life requires: risk-taking, guts, and being vulnerable. It’s hard to show up to a yoga class if you’ve never done it before. It’s scary to leave your boring but comfortable job to start your own business. It’s frustrating to teach yourself a new skill like playing the guitar when you know you will probably stink at it for a long time.
But you have to try. Why? Because trying something new has the potential to make
you really happy.
And the purpose of your life is to enjoy it!
To make positive changes happen for yourself in 2016, it is helpful to create a
visual plan of your goals. This is called a “Vision Board”.
If you make a Vision Board and hang it where you will see it every day, you are
more likely to put into action the positive changes you want to make in your life.
Remember, self care is the most important gift you can give yourself.
